Faith it 'til You Make It or Fake it 'til You Make It? The Art of Manifesting, Changes, Hard work and a Lifestyle. An Open Confession to the Hustle Culture

Growing up in a transition age between the industrial and information era, the fast pace culture has altered the lifestyle of many. The struggle to adapt to a new environment is a long problem for Millenials. With the birth of a tighter more pressure-hustle culture, the mindset of most people is that we must work the hardest to have the biggest future and reach the highest status. To be fair, we work hard to live a life someday that we didn't need to do because first and foremost, we will be too old. Age discrimination is less talked about but is still one of the deadliest societal diseases that is long been present for centuries ago. So it was fair to say that it was never wrong to work hard.

We work hard to achieve what we want. Simply because we desire it is enough reason to shred our blood, sweat, and tears. But along the journey of achieving it, we must choose the right path for a safe and more guaranteed assurance that we will have it in the future. This is why lifestyle is important. Lifestyle is the way we live. The principles we follow, the morale we are taught and even the personalities we support depict a lifestyle that we had.

Lifestyle is also greatly affected by the environment we grew up. From the people we met to the relationships we built, our lifestyle is simply not constant. Events that occur in our life, no matter how spontaneous you are, unprecedented courses likely controlled the way we live for a moment. But when things get worst, some events could change our life entirely. The moral of the story is our life is dynamic. No one and nothing can combat change. Change is the driver of life.

Whenever we wanted something, we already change. Because we simply desire something that we do not have. We do not have it because we can't have it. Maybe for some reason in our life, maybe because we are either physically, mentally, or economically couldn't. The major point is we will change no matter how many people wish you won't change your birthday every single year. And did you know the frequency of your changes? Infinite! Because you change every single day. Since our life is dynamic, our days will never be the same. Anna enjoyed last Monday because she had a surprise party on her 18th birthday, but next Monday she can be sad or worried or frightened because some things can happen! The phrase, "Be happy." is not meant to tell you to be happy every day but to LIVE happily.

Now, you might wonder if trying to be happy is different from trying to live happily. To be happy sounds like a demand. Like it is something you are pushed to do so. But trying to live happily is more of like a commitment, for a lifetime course! Being happy was not meant to last for a day. You can be happy today and you can be sad tomorrow. You live happily from today and you can still be sad tomorrow. Confusing? To be more specific, Anna eats vegetables today but she will surely eat junk food the other days. Anna chose to live a healthy lifestyle and she might try junk foods but not always.

Furthermore, a lifestyle is a long-term commitment, a stepping stone to achieving a lifetime goal. That goal is the purpose of our passion. We work for it. We live for it. We celebrate it. We cried for it. So live the life that will lead you to the goal of your life. Faith it, nor fake it, as long as you work hard for it, you will make it. Work hard and work smart - works the fastest.
